Mica   Stone

This stone was formed two billion years ago by heat,  pressure and a

variety of trace elements. It varies in color throughout the quarry

in shades of red, green and black, it sometime comes studded

with hematite, tourmaline, or garnet. In many areas the

rock is gnarled with quartz of feldspar layers, giving

it a  unique and  impressive twist.  Not only is the

rock  beautiful  to  look  at, it  is  durable  as  a

building  and  landscape  stone. The  mica

platelets make it especially attractive

for a water feature. The particular
